This is the second time Aris and Paula Cole have teamed up. Several years ago, Aris joined Paula Cole live to duet on her 1999 hit "I Believe In Love". It was that experience that inspired the new single "Love". Collaborating with Paula Cole has been a long held dream come true for Aris, who has bee heavily influenced by Paula Cole from his teenage years onward. The release of "Love" dawns near the 20th anniversary of Paula's "I Believe In Love" (from her sophmore album "Amen".)

I was bullied intensely in grade school and high school. It affected my attendance but it also pushed me more towards the arts and creativity. I think the real blessing is when being different ends up making you special. I'm not sure if I've ever been the popular one, but I know I'm loved.
C like: Charity .. are you involved in any charity projects?
I'm really passionate about feeding and rehabilitating the homeless. I work a lot with Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen, which is the largest food program in NYC. They serve around 1500 meals a day all year long. I featured the Soup Kitchen in my music video "Pray for Change" from my last album "Twilight Revival", and all proceeds from that single go to the Soup Kitchen. I think it touches me so much because it's a universal problem that you can understand no matter where you're from or what you believe in. And it's a problem that can be helped with just a little kindness, food and faith.
My heart is also very touched by the recent tragedy in Orlando. I'm donating all proceeds from the sale of my song "Pulse" to the families of the victims. It's a song about celebrating life through hardship, loving yourself and living for the moment. The song is available at http://smarturl.it/aris

PULSE ALBUM REVIEW
"I listen to very few albums all the way through without pushing past a few songs, even from my favorite mainstream artists so when I can thrown on one album and listen all the way through that is saying a lot. Pulse is definitely a collection of songs that is good for a long car ride, a hike, a workout, or just while you are cleaning and cooking.
The first song, Love (Thank you) features artist Paula Cole. It remind me immediately of Donna Summer's hit I Feel Love with its sexy, breathy repetition and underlying sexy rhythm. Rain is a storm of emotion, desire, passion, and pain. I've said I felt like he was in my diary at some point, especially when I hear this one. It just feels that personal and I think it will to many people.
Speaking of Donna Summer, the title track has a sample of I Feel Love and I can actually hear Donna performing this one with approval. Handle It is definitely for anyone who has been wronged by a lover or just not appreciated for who they are. To me, it sounds like a dare to handle me in all my fabulousness if you think you can. But if you can't, well the hell with you. It is reminiscent of a Beyonce empowerment piece. Basically, take me for what I am or everything you own will be in a box to the left.
Next, I want to talk about the Reborn remix. I do enjoy a good remix, especially when it is different version of the song that brings a new way to enjoy it. This remix does that for me by giving it a new beat. Make sure you check it all out for yourself at Aris' website and follow him on social media because you are also going to want to check out his covers."
Prayers for Orlando
Almost a week later and I'm finally able to speak. This tragedy has affected me in many ways and I know many people who've lost loved ones. It is an unfortunate coincidence that my new album happens to share the name of the club where this tragedy took place. When everything unfolded, I had to ask myself "How do I move forward? Do I shelve the album?" and then I realized that essentially that would be caving to fear and terror.
Instead I'm dedicating the title track "Pulse" to the victims and the families in Orlando, and donating all proceeds of the song. It's an anthem about triumph through hardship, loving yourself and eachother, and celebrating life.
My album "Pulse" is an album inspired by love, which I hoped would inspire people to be themselves and celebrate their lives. Perhaps it is serendipity, in a way, that now I can dedicate this music to those who have left us too soon, and to those of us that are still here fighting this fight for love, for equality, for humanity. I will stand tall, I will be fearless, I will take every moment along this journey to use this platform to honor those we've lost, and to project a beacon of hope and light for those of us who remain huddled together in these dark days. I will love unconditionally. I will not fear judgement. I will announce from the roof tops that I am proud of who I am, and who I love. I hope and pray all of us can turn this nightmare into a movement of solidarity, of unity, of change.
My heart is with all of you who have lost someone, or know someone who has. All we can do is celebrate life. All we have is this moment. Cherish it. Cherish those around you. Put love above all else. And if you need an ear, a hand, a hug, don't isolate yourself. Reach out! Let's make sure our community becomes more and more tightly knit.

Aris won Producer of the Year at the 9th Annual OutMusic Awards for his self-produced album "Twilight Revival"
"I always have music on while working and one evening I realized that I had put Paula Cole's "I Believe In Love" on loop as I was writing. I took a break and hit up YouTube to find a live performance of the song. I found a duet of it done with Aris that completely blew me away. Click the video and listen for the first minute and you'll get exactly what I mean.
His voice is magic and so naturally I needed to learn more. While flipping through Aris' other work I came to realize that behind the amazing voice was likely a pretty soulful man, one that seemed deeply connected to the life around him. I also kept an eye on his Kickstarter campaign and watched as it eventually resulted in the completion of Aris' forthcoming album, Pulse.
Aris released his first single, "Reborn" off the project a few weeks ago and it was time for me to request an interview with him. What I quickly learned was that, while my initial instincts and "read" were pretty spot on, Aris is even more incredible one-on-one. Women have played a major role in helping to shape not only his career, but also in Aris' life path. He was raised in NYC by his belly dancer mother, whose mantra was, "If you don't take chances in life you'll regret it. "
"My mother has passed, but I hear those words every time I have doubt. It helps to steady me and ultimately has helped me to be more fearless in my life." explained Aris during our recent chat. Another woman who has influenced him greatly has been Paula Cole. His appearance with her nearly two years ago was hardly a fluke. As it turns out, Cole's groundbreaking 1996 release, This Fire was a favorite of his mother's and it was also that body of work that made Aris decide to pursue his own musical dreams.
A love of poetry as a teen eventually helped when it came time for Aris to really get in touch with who he wanted to be musically. While nearly every track that he has released up to this point has an underlying dance beat, Aris is quick to not only see the color and texture of different musical styles, but also integrate them into his own tracks. He doesn't see the boundaries between different musical genres. Everything in life alternates between light and dark and if you listen closely you'll also pick up on this in Aris' songs.
"Fallen Blind" is a personal favorite of mine and the video provides proof of just how fearless Aris is in his visual choices. The NSFW clip may make some squirm, as it also depicts a lack of boundaries separating men and women, or more importantly, love itself. At root, if we're being honest then when stripped down we're all very similar. The feelings, fears and fantasies are somewhat alike but not everyone is comfortable enough to admit it.
Pulse is actually Aris' third full length album and it is scheduled for a mid-November release. "Reborn", the aforementioned first single is now available on iTunes and will have a video to accompany it in early October. There will also be two new remixes released. Aris is really hoping that Pulse will take people on a 15-track musical journey that ultimately lifts them. He likens the beats of music to a pulse and for this project, that pulse will include everything from 90's house music, rock, soul and even authentic tribal beats.
Aris' collaborating with Paula Cole wasn't a time only thing either. He actually has a new song with her on Pulse called, "Love (Thank You)" that will ultimately be released as a single in the near future. Throughout our conversation, Aris expressed his gratitude towards those that have helped to support his dreams and inspired him to have the confidence to continue on his path. He hopes that his music will ultimately light a fire beneath others. "I really hope that the people that listen to my music are inspired to never stop fighting or reaching for their own dreams."
I'd strongly suggest that you all keep a really close eye on Aris Ziagos, because his star is clearly on the rise. Look for him out on the road later this winter as well. After releasing Pulse the buzz-worthy artist can't wait to start playing his new tracks live across the U.S."

The Trevor Project's Fall Fete was held Friday November 14th at Marquee in NYC. Founded in 1998 by the creators of the Academy Award-winning short film TREVOR, The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24. For the video, we wanted to find the beauty in the truth of the emotions and the tears."

ARIS TEAMS UP WITH THE LARGEST FOOD PROGRAM IN NYC
Aris has once again partered with The Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen to raise funds for hungry New Yorkers this holiday season. Aris featured the Soup Kitchen in his video for "Pray for Change" .

Brooklyn native singer-songwriter Aris has just released the deluxe edition of Twilight Revival, an album that blends alternative rock, electronic & pop genres. From the thumping opener 'Twilight' to the campfire-folk closing track 'Revival' to the diverse bonus tracks included on the digital release, Aris' self-produced album is rooted in dynamic instrumentation, and exploration of vocal styles.
Drawn to poetry, Aris gravitated towards emotional music by singer-songwriters who bared their souls through musical expression such as Paula Cole and Chris Cornell, whose confessional works continue to influence him. Recently he performed a duet with Grammy winner Paula Cole to a packed house and standing ovation.
From as early as age three, the Brooklyn native can remember being influenced by the city's melting pot of musical sounds, and as the son of an Irish belly-dancing mother and a Greek immigrant father his musical worldview was influenced by the diversity shared by his family and hometown. Newfound perspectives gained through life changing events experienced during the death of his mother during Hurricane Sandy can be found within this refined collection of songs.
The album's tracks have been honed to reflect both a journey of inner transformation and healing as well as exposing the cracks in the government and institutional response to the disaster. Aris joined Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter Paula Cole on stage in Chatham New Jersey on Saturday September 7th to perform a duet of her 1999 hit single "I Believe In Love". They dedicated the song as a touching tribute to his mother Ginny.
